🔔 ABOUT THE EVENT The 3ZERO Club Convention 2025 brought together youth leaders, changemakers, and social business experts from across the globe to celebrate grassroots innovation and local action. As part of a growing global journey striving for Zero net carbon emission, Zero wealth concentration for ending poverty, and Zero unemployment by unleashing entrepreneurship in all, the convention served as a platform to exchange ideas, showcase projects, and strengthen our collective vision for a sustainable future.

This year’s convention featured keynote speeches, panel discussions, and an award ceremony celebrating the most impactful clubs and the support systems behind them. Participants explored how youth-led innovation is transforming communities and shaping the future of development through social business.

🔍 FEATURED SEGMENTS KEYNOTE 1: REIMAGINING EDUCATION: NURTURING LEADERS FOR A 3ZERO WORLD The Convention opened with an inspiring keynote by Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, Vice Chancellor of North South University. He emphasized the urgent need for youth-centered education systems that prepare future leaders to solve real-world problems with compassion, innovation, and social responsibility.

KEYNOTE 2: BUILDING BRIDGES TO THE FUTURE: EDUCATING, EMPOWERING, AND ELEVATING YOUTH Sharifah Sofia, Trustee of the Albukhary Foundation, delivered the second keynote where she underscored the importance of nurturing purpose-driven leadership and creating inclusive platforms that empower young people to become agents of change.

PANEL 1: TOGETHER FOR CHANGE: BUILDING A 3ZERO WORLD, ONE GENERATION AT A TIME Moderated by Farhia Tabassum Hoque, Program Coordinator at YY Ventures, the first panel discussion explored how collaboration across generations can accelerate progress toward the 3ZERO goals. Panelists included: 1. Nazneen Sultana, Executive Vice Chairman of Grameen Communications and Trustee of 3ZERO Trust (Bangladesh) 2. Raymond Serios, Director for Strategic Projects and Administration at Negros Women for Tomorrow Foundation (NWTF) (Philippines) 3. William Chiu, Manager at Foundation for Yunus Social Business Taiwan (Taiwan) 4. Kady Kanouté Tounkara, Olympian, African Champion, former professional basketball player, and entrepreneur (Mali) The panelists shared diverse experiences on enabling grassroots impact, fostering inclusive ecosystems, and the critical role of youth in advancing intergenerational leadership.

VISION TALK: WHERE TO GO NEXT? Shihab Quader, Director-General (SDGs) at the Chief Advisor’s Office, Government of Bangladesh, delivered a forward-looking talk titled Where to Go Next?. He shared insights into Bangladesh’s national development priorities and emphasized the importance of youth participation in aligning both local and global efforts toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.

PANEL 2: VOICES OF HOPE: THE ROLE OF YOUTH IN BUILDING A 3ZERO WORLD Moderated by Panisa Ruengchai, Marketing Officer at Yunus Thailand, this youth panel highlighted real-world experiences of 3ZERO Club members who are leading change in their local contexts. Speakers included: 1. Arezo Jafari, Member of 3ZERO Club (ID: 458-021-028), Malaysia 2. Mahmudul Hasan, Member of 3ZERO Club (ID: 050-001-0113), Bangladesh 3. Anthony Huang, Member of 3ZERO Club (ID: 158-024-0001), Taiwan Together, they showcased projects tackling issues in education, environment, and employment- offering bold, scalable models of youth-led social innovation.

3ZERO CLUB AWARDS CEREMONY One of the most anticipated moments of the convention was the 3ZERO Club Awards Ceremony, where outstanding individuals, clubs, and partner institutions were recognized for their exceptional contributions to the 3ZERO Club Journey. Awards were presented across several categories, including Best 3ZERO Club, Best Support Person, Best Support Organization, Best Affiliating Institution, and Special Mention. The ceremony also proudly featured the announcement of the winners of the 3ZERO Club Ideation Challenge- a global call for bold, youth-driven ideas to address pressing local challenges through the 3ZERO lens. These winning ideas demonstrated creativity, feasibility, and a strong potential for real-world impact, further inspiring all attendees to innovate with purpose.

CLOSING REMARKS: REFLECTING AND REIGNITING THE VISION The convention concluded with powerful closing speeches by Dominique Dauster, Managing Director of the YY Foundation, and Ashraful Hassan, Chairman of the Grameen Group. Their remarks reaffirmed the vital role youth play in shaping a just and inclusive world and encouraged all participants to continue carrying the 3ZERO vision forward with purpose and passion.

The convention was more than a celebration- it was a declaration. A declaration of what’s possible when young minds unite to reimagine education, economics, and the environment. It showcased the growing momentum of the global youth journey and served as a call to action to build, collaborate, and lead.
